The Worry Beads are a four-piece Manchester band whose music defies easy categorisation. Grounded in an explosive mix of Rock and Blues, The Worry Beads also fuse the very faintest touches of Country and Folk to create a sound unlike anything else.
Formed originally as a studio project in the autumn of 2006, The Worry Beads have drawn on over 60 years combined experience to craft a selection of truly memorable songs that you’ll still be humming days after you first heard them.
The strength of the band’s original material is amply showcased in their 4 track EP “In Good Time” (mastered by Andy Jackson – Pink Floyd’s engineer) and have just finished recording their debut album for release in late Summer 2010.
With over 1000 gigs under their collective belts, you’d expect the band to be good live. And they are, with their blistering live performances already garnering critical acclaim.

New Album Update!
Phew! We're nearly there. Last week saw us finishing the tracking for the new album. We're now at the mix down stage and back on schedule for release in August 2010.
The Worry Beads Rock Montrose (again!)
We're back up in Montrose, Scotland for the Montrose Music Festival in late May 2010. It'll make a nice change from being in the studio and we're really looking forward to playing some of the new songs that will feature on our upcoming album.
